Welcome to my website! My contact information is here as well as information on the work I'm doing on behalf of the 6th Legislative District.
It is truly an honor to serve the families, communities and individual citizens of our region. I have met so many of you already and am looking forward to hearing from more of you as we strive to make a Better Way for a Better Washington.
As many of you know, I am not a career politician, but have the important duty of deputy whip in our caucus to help organize members, in addition to my committee assignments. I am also a small business owner, a Veteran, a wife and a mother, and a tireless advocate for victims of crime and abuse.
And now, as your state legislator in Olympia, it is my job to listen to you, to work on your behalf and to represent our shared values. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your questions or concerns about state government or issues we're facing in Olympia. I hope to hear from you soon!

Failed legislative efforts at police reform have made our communities, families, and schools less safe. We need to address violent crime and give our law enforcement officers the tools and certainty they need to protect us. I am not willing to sacrifice the safety of our children for political correctness! I was part of our Safe Washington Plan that put victims and public safety first.Learn more about our Safe Washington Plan
Washington state has been under one-person rule for over two years. Our system of government was not designed to function in this fashion. This is one of the issues I hear about from constituents the most: when will the governor's emergency powers be addressed? I will continue to press my legislative colleagues to do the right thing and reform the governor's emergency powers.Learn more about our efforts to curb the governor's emergency powers
The pendulum of favoring criminals over their victims in our justice system has gone too far. We need to restore balance. I'm working to hold criminals accountable, give voice to victims, and protect our children, families, and communities from continued predation from violent repeat offenders.Listen to my radio interview discussing how the justice system has forgotten about crime victims
